Copper Queens players HAZEL NALI and GRACE CHANDA have remained in New Zealand for medical treatment.
The two are not part of the team returning home following the Zambia’s exit from the World Cup.
And Government says the two who fell ill in build up to the FIFA Women’s World cup will continue to receive medical treatment in New Zealand.
Sports Minister ELVIS NKANDU reaffirmed Governments support to the players through Zambia’s High Commissioner to Australia and New Zealand ELIAS MUNSHYA, who visited the players.
NKANDU has since thanked the medical professionals and Chairperson of the Zambians in New Zealand for the assistance given to the players.
This is contained in a statement issued to ZNBC Sports News by first Secretary Press and Public Relations at the Zambian High Commission to Australia and New Zealand CHARLES MUCHOLO.
