Gloria Carter, mother of JAY-Z, deserves congratulations!
Gloria Carter, best known as the mother of American musician Jay Z, reportedly wed Roxanne Wilshire over the weekend in New York City.
According to TMZ, which released pictures from the event, the matriarch of the Carter family wed her longtime companion Roxanne Wiltshire in a ceremony that happened over the weekend in New York City's Tribeca area.
Their friends and family, including JAY-Z and his wife Beyoncé, as well as other famous guests including Kelly Rowland, Tina Knowles-Lawson, Tyler Perry, and Robin Roberts, joined the celebration.
Although there haven't been any in-depth pictures and videos from the party yet, pictures obtained by the Daily Mail showed Beyonce and Knowles-Lawson entering the exclusive New York venue Tribeca 360° with their daughter Blue Ivy, 11, who is Beyonce and Jay-Z's daughter.
According to sources, Carter's friends and family, including her son Jay-Z and his wife and fellow singer Beyoncé, as well as Kelly Rowland, Tina Knowles-Lawson, Tyler Perry, and Robin Roberts, reportedly attended the wedding.
According to Complex, the wedding reception didn't end until nearly one in the morning on Sunday, July 2.
